Executive Function skills are "self-management" skills.

To be successful in life, we must learn to manage our emotions, focus our attention, organize, plan, manage time, and reflect as needed.

As the demands of life increase over time, having well developed Executive Function skills becomes critical to success in school, work, and life in general.

Executive Function challenges are part of an ADHD diagnosis and/or other learning exceptionalities, but you don't need a formal diagnosis to struggle in this area.
